Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the school nearest you for more information and to set up a time to stop by and view a class and speak with the Sensei. Witnessing the instruction and the style of kempo in person is without a doubt the best way to evaluate the classes for yourself and see what we have to offer. We do prefer that you call and set up an appointment, but if you are unable to, the best time to come is about 10-15 minutes prior to the start of a class. Class times are listed in each school's section.

There are several payment options and programs to choose from, including an introductory program, allowing you to tailor your instruction to fit your lifestyle. Gift certificates are also available for instruction or merchandise from the Geary Collection, e.g. belt requirement videos on VHS and DVD.

Standard Monthly Memberships

The standard program at Christopher N. Geary's Shaolin Kempo Karate is a twelve-month membership for $75.00 per month. This membership fee provides the student with two training sessions per week, one (1) hour each or two hours on Saturdays. Having students attend two hours of classes per week provides an effective and easy-to-attend schedule that is not only convenient for the student but also the family. It cuts down on driving time for parents while giving students a comfortable schedule to practice at home and participate in other activities.

When you sign up with Christopher N. Geary's Shaolin Kempo Karate, you will save in other ways as well. Unlike many other schools, we do not charge for belt testing. We charge for actual belt promotions when a student is ready to be promoted. There are no down payments (Pacific Street School, Corporate Headquarters, may vary), and your first uniform is included with your first month's payment. You are signing up for a one-year program, just like signing up for a cellular phone or a health club membership. We also offer a six-month trial program for $85.00 per month. Bear in mind, however, that martial arts is a commitment and six months is a short amount of time. Both the twelve and six month memberships entitle you to attend two (2) hours of instruction per week. The six month membership can be upgraded to the twelve-month program at any time.Once you sign up, your monthly rate will never change as long as you are a student.

Student Rescue Program™ (Participating Schools)

If you are interested in joining us but still have some time left on a program with another school, we will work with you to help you switch without impacting your finances. Depending on the time left on your other program, we will allow you to start attending classes with us free of charge for the remainder of the old program, after which a new membership with us would kick in. All that is required is for you to sign up for a 6-month or 12-month membership and pay the first month up front. A copy of your current student membership is also required for participation in this program. The term of your membership would not start until your program at the other school expires, and your next monthly payment to us would not be due until one month after that. Talk to one of the instructors for details on this unique program.

Black Belt Club

The Black Belt Club membership entitles the student to instruction with Christopher N. Geary's Shaolin Kempo Karate without monthly payment until the rank of black belt is achieved. Members may also attend any regularly scheduled class (for their age group) in their school. This program may be limited to five (5) people per school. You may receive up to two (2) hours of private instruction per week, subject to your instructor's discretion. Members are permitted to wear the Black Belt Club patch with their school's animal patch below. Speak with your instructor about prices and availability.

Master's Club

The Master's Club membership entitles the student to lifetime instruction with any Christopher N. Geary's Shaolin Kempo Karate school without monthly payment. Members may also attend any regularly scheduled class (for their age group) in any school. This program may be limited to five (5) people per city. You may receive up to two (2) hours of private instruction per week, subject to the instructor's discretion. Members are permitted to wear the Master's Club patch with one of the five animal patches below. Speak with your instructor about prices and availability.

VIP Program

The VIP Program enables current students to attend any appropriate class session at their school for $65 for one (1) month or $120 for two (2) months. This program allows for increased class flexibility, and will speed up your progress with your increased attendance. This card is only valid with your instructor's signature.

Private Lesson Punch Card

The Private Lesson Punch Card entitles you to four (4) private lessons at the regular price of $160 (remember private lessons at the Founder's school are an increased rate). After attending your fourth lesson you will receive an additional free lesson. This card is only valid with your instructor's signature.
