New start-up businesses expend countless man-hours and thousands of dollars to get name recognition. We (you) already have it. This network of independently owned and licensed schools, like a martial arts franchise, gives you the advantage as far as advertising: brochures, phone books, television commercials, etc. You also have the advantage of a top of the line custom designed website already set up and running. You will not have to create any student membership contracts, student guides, Licensing Agreements, Instructor Training Programs, etc - it's all done. You will not have to worry about setting up your billing/accounting services, insurance (i.e. health plans for you and your family) - it is already in place. All you have to do is learn.

This is one of the highest levels that one can achieve in the martial arts. With Christopher N. Geary's Shaolin Kempo Karate this is your chance to teach others the way of martial arts, help them become better people (physically and mentally), give the good guys back the advantage in today's world. When you are doing what you love to do for a living, it's not really work anymore.

Regardless of rank, you are trained and progress through the ranks as an Assistant Instructor. Your primary duty as an Assistant Instructor is to assist your Instructor in teaching class while learning the day-to-day details of the business. In this fashion you will be ready for anything when you are running your own school. This process can take anywhere from two to four years dependent on what rank you are when you sign. You will not only learn defensive techniques, but also teaching techniques to help you teach others. When you do sign up for the Instructor's Training Program and you reach the rank of blue belt you will wear the prestigious Instructor's uniform (black top/white bottom). When you achieve the rank of Black Belt you will also be a Sensei (Instructor).

You can talk to your Instructor about how you can become the owner of your own business and the advantages this gives you and your family. At this time costs, fees, royalties and the business plan will be briefly discussed. A percentage of the monies you initially invest to get started may go to your Instructor. The odds are favorable that once you become an instructor at least one of your students will want to step up to the next level and that percentage of your investment will return to you.

When you are ready for the next step, you will meet with the Vice President, Shihan Shawn M. Steiner. At this time details of the actual Licensing Agreement/Instructor Training Program will be discussed and an actual copy of an agreement may be viewed. In the last stage the Vice President will arrange a formal meeting for you and the Founder/President Professor Christopher N. Geary to discuss things in more detail.
