The Pacific Street School (Corporate headquarters) is one of the most beautiful places in Omaha. Located 1.9 miles south of the Lincoln Highway on 180th street where it crosses Pacific Street. The spacious school, which is approximately 1,542 square feet, represents the Dragon. From the Dragon, we learn to "Ride the Wind", meaning the Dragon is especially noted for its wisdom and flexibility. It is the only mythological creature of the Shaolin Art, and thus the only one that can fight on land, water, or in the sky. The Dragon uses rising and falling motions as well as twisting and turning movements to overcome its adversaries. The Dragon helps develop inner strength.

Students signed up for the standard program may attend 2 hours of instruction per week. Ages are approximate, instructor will determine the appropriate class for each individual. Private instruction is also available.

Question:

I am interested in taking classes and would like to come to your school and observe a class. Can beginners join a class and not feel out of place? I don't want to embarrass myself, as I have never had any martial arts instruction.

Answer:

Yes, you are welcome to come in and observe a class. You can also participate in a class session at no cost or obligation. Beginners can work with each other, and you shouldn't feel out of place or embarrassed at all. We have separate classes for adults and children, and new students are starting all the time.

Question:

I have two children who are different ages. According to your class schedule, it looks like the younger one would be in the weekday class and the older one in the Saturday class. To cut down on the amount of driving involved, could they both attend class at the same time?

Answer:

Yes, we have several families with children of different ages attending the same class, so your kids will not feel out of place. Just let the instructor know what you would like to do.

Martial Arts training utilizes physical contact and discipline techniques that can result in physical harm. All training is taken at the Customer's own risk.
